Curling shoes have a unique set of stresses. Coupled with the unique properties of every pair of custom curling shoes, there will sometimes arise the need for some basic maintenance.

The most likely scenario is that something has come a bit loose and needs to be reattached. Fortunately, most instances of needed repairs are resolved very quickly and easily with readily available materials. Follow these simple steps for repairs that will extend the life of your custom shoes.


E6000 glue (available at most hardware stores). 
Clean release painters tape. 
Popsicle stick or similar to spread glue. 


Clean any loose material from the affected areas. 
Spread a thin layer of e6000 glue to one surface. 
Press together firmly and bind with painters tape. 
After 30 minutes, remove the tape and clean any excess glue. 
Allow 24 hours to fully cure before use.
